What are the differences between the nail art tiers?

I offer three nail art tiers to suit different styles and levels of detail:

• Minimal Nail Art – Simple but stylish! Think French tips (00’s, chrome, multi-color), subtle hand-painted details (stars, animal prints), one-color aura, block chrome nails, or basic abstract/tribal designs. A clean, trendy look with a lil’ edge.

• Intermediate Nail Art – A step up with more dimension and detail. This includes 3D/texture work, layered designs (e.g., aura with chrome details), multi-color airbrush art, and letters/numbers. You can mix up to three different designs in one set so go crazy, but cohesive!

• Complex Nail Art – For the nail art lovers who want it all! This is for highly detailed sets where each nail can have a different design, intricate details, 3D textures and mix/layering of intermediate designs. Nail art in this category is at a more complex level.

All press-on orders fall under Complex Nail Art as they are custom freestyle designs tailored to you.

I’m not seeing any slots on your site. Do you have any more availability?

Slots shown on the booking site are the only slots available. If there are no slots showing, I am fully booked. Cancellations are posted on my instagram story.

When do slots drop?

Slots drop twice a month. 24th for first two weeks and 10th for last two weeks at 6pm.

E.g, if you want to book for first half of June, book 24th May. If you want to book for second half of June, book 10th June.

Where are you based?

I am based in Uxbridge, West London (UB10) at our family salon!

What days are you open?

Wed - Sat (11AM - 5PM)

10am (before hours)

5pm onwards (after hours)

I have biab/acrylics/gelx on my nails, can you infill/work over this?

Unfortunately, I do not work over other technicians work unless it is my own. Please come with bare nails.

GENERAL

Are your press-ons reusable?

Yes! With proper care and gentle removal, you can reuse your press-ons multiple times. Using adhesive tabs instead of glue will make reuse even easier.

How long do press-on nails last?

The wear time depends on how you apply them:

• Nail glue: 1–2 weeks

• Adhesive tabs: 1–3 days

Proper prep and aftercare will help extend their longevity.

What comes in the press-on nail kit?

Each press-on nail set includes:

• A full set of press-ons (10 nails)

• Nail glue

• Adhesive tabs 

• Mini buffer

• Cuticle pusher

• Alcohol prep pad

• Application & removal guide

Do you offer custom designs?

Yes! I offer custom moodboard freestyle press-ons. Once you have ordered your custom set, you are able to send a moodboard via email (setgyallery@gmail.com) for me to curate. You are able to make revisions once to the drafted sketch before the press on set is made.

Custom slots are limited, so book early!

What if my press-ons don’t fit?

Please ensure you follow the correct steps for your press on sizes. Setgyallery is not responsible for any incorrectly sized press on tips.

APPLICATION & REMOVAL

How do I apply my press-on nails for a long-lasting hold?

Start with clean, dry nails (use the alcohol pad to remove oils).

1. Push back cuticles and lightly buff your nails for better adhesion.

2. Apply a thin layer of glue to your natural nail and the press-on.

3. Press firmly for 10–15 seconds. Avoid water for the first hour.

For a quick, temporary wear, use adhesive tabs instead of glue.

How do I remove my press-ons safely?

For a damage-free removal:

• Soak your nails in warm, soapy water for 10–15 minutes.

• Gently lift the press-ons using the cuticle pusher.

• If needed, apply cuticle oil around the edges to loosen them.

Can I reuse my press-ons after removing them?

Yes! If removed gently, you can reuse them. Clean off any leftover glue and store them in the original packaging for protection.

How do I keep my press-ons looking fresh?

Avoid excessive water exposure (wear gloves for cleaning). Store them in their original packaging when not in use.

SHIPPING & PROCESSING

How long does it take to receive my order?

After confirmation (specifically for custom moodboard sets) processing  time for all press-ons is 2-4 weeks depending on complexity, plus shipping. Once shipped:

• UK orders: 1-2 working days 

• International orders: 5-7 working days 

You’ll receive a tracking number once your order ships.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! I ship worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery times vary based on location.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Due to the handmade and hygienic nature of press-ons, all sales are final. However, if there’s an issue with your order, please contact setgyallery@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving them.

What if my nails arrive damaged?

If your order arrives damaged, please email setgyallery@gmail.com with clear photos within 7 days of delivery, and I’ll work on a resolution for you.
